DIY Easter egg decoration - Red Queen

diy easter egg decorationEaster is very exiting for the children. Here is an idea how to involve your kids in the preparation for the holiday. Just decorate the eggs as their favorite fairy tale characters. In this post I present you the Disney Family's idea of the charming Red Queen from Alice in Wonderland.

To make this project you will need white egg, napkin, colored paper, scissors, bottle cap, black marker, blue pencil, glue.

Step 1 Print the template and cut it out.

Step 2 Outline the template on colored paper patterns (the hair - on red paper, the crown - on yellow paper). Cut.

Step 3 Cut out small circles of red paper (you can punch).

Step 4 Fold the bottom of the hair as shown in the template and then glue the red circles on top. Thus you will create a magnificent hair. Glue the royal crown on her hair.

Step 5 Paint the eye patterns in blue and glue them to the egg. Draw the eyelashes with a black marker.

Step 6 Glue the tiny red paper heart as a lip or draw it with a red marker. Then use a black marker to draw an arc to give the frown.

Step 7 Draw the nose and mole on her cheek.

Step 8 Fold the napkin into a triangle. Stick the sharp end to the bottom of the bottle cap.

Step 9 Put the egg in the cap and glue the hair.
