For the picture you will need textile with prints that you like (it is better to use rough textiles that look like canvas for painting. But if you have a textile that you like so much - use fusible fabric on the back to make the textile stiffer), frame and pins. Place the textile on the table. Afterwards put the frame in the center over the textile - you shall leave at least 5 cm of textile on every side of the frame so that you could fix well the picture. Pin the first end of the textile. Another interesting idea how to make textile print by yourself. Enjoy! So the materials you need are piece of cloth for the sieve (tulle or nylon but never silk), frame, decoupage glue, textile paint, paint brushes and window rubber squeegee . First of all you have to prepare the sieve, so... Step 1 Place the cloth on the table. Then place the frame over the cloth in the center. The frame shall be a little bigger than the selected design. Pull the end of the fabric to the edge of the frame and put a decoupage clue on it. Wait 10 minutes to dry well. Stretch well the fabric by pulling the opposite end and stick it to the edge with decoupage glue. Similarly, attach the other two sides of the cloth. When the glue is dry, trim excess fabric. To define the positioning start with stems and leaves. Afterwards choose the colors. For the prints you could use Styrofoam or even make-up sponge or house cleaning sponge. The density of the material ensures even distribution of colors . You will need a dhesive or plain sheets of thick Styrofoam, glue, craft knife, Plexiglas, paint brushes, fabric paint - yellow, green, purple, orange and red. Step 1 Print patterns and re-size them by accessories' size . Them cut them out . Draw patterns on the Styrofoam and cut them with a knife . Step 2 Glue the prints to Plexiglas. Isn't these cushions marvelous? I really like H&M designs but if there is no store near you can do these cushions by yourself! The easiest way is to use transfer paper. You can find more instructions on DIY label on ribbon . Another way is to paint the cloth. You will need template printed on vel lum paper, scissors, scotch, craft knife, textile paint and of course cushion . Step 1 Print the pattern you have chosen on vellum paper. You may use glass etching pattern. Here the templates I found. Step 2 Carefully cut out the print. Put something under the vellum so that you won't harm the table. Step 3 Apply vellum on the textile and stick ends tightly with scotch or plaster. Iron the textile. Note that this is done with low heated iron! Step 4 Put the paint.
