how to make picture from textile

Do you know that a wide picture on the wall will make the room look larger? Here you can find some ideas how to make the picture that suits your room by color and size.

For the picture you will need textile with prints that you like (it is better to use rough textiles that look like canvas for painting. But if you have a textile that you like so much - use fusible fabric on the back to make the textile stiffer), frame and pins.

Place the textile on the table. Afterwards put the frame in the center over the textile - you shall leave at least 5 cm of textile on every side of the frame so that you could fix well the picture. Pin the first end of the textile. Stretch well the textile by pulling the opposite end and pin it. Similarly, attach the other two sides of the textile. Trim excess fabric.

Easy, cheap and chic!

DIY Wall Decoration - Animal Trophy

Marie Claire Idees Magazine is giving us another very pleasant idea how to decorate your wall especially if you are good in sewing. The Magazine is presenting three types of heads - deer, ibex and ram head. The average size of the heads is about 30cm (excluding the horn).
