Style appears in the late 80's of the last century, and its author is Rachel Ashwell. It all started when she began to buy old furniture at sales and flea markets decoration of her own home. And in the end her home became so wonderful and cozy that the hobby has grown into an organization of the whole production, the opening of the shops, and the design style has become quite popular.

The main objective in the decor in shabby chic style is to create a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Thic is achieved by artificially aged or vintage furniture, natural fabrics and a variety of small and cherished gadgets that hold memories of romantic times.

Shabby chic - it is rather a style, not fashion. You can easily mix the ages and texture to achieve the overall mood. It will give new life to old things, accepting them as they are, with all cracks and worns.

Shabby chic is very romantic and feminine style.
