Ivy Leaves for Table Decoration

Easy and attractive idea how to decorate your coffee table.

Coffee (tea) time and you have no idea how to adorn the table? Marie Claire Idees Magazine gives us a chic idea for coffee table decoration – ivy leaves from lace decorated paper. It is cheap and doesn’t take lot of your time. And what is more this decoration is suitable for every occasion.

Materials needed: thick paper (about 120g) with lace design, ruler, butter knife, scissors and glue.

Step 1 Enlarge and print the leaf pattern (make sure the scale is correct). Cut the leaf out and lay it on the thick paper.

Step 2 Outline the pattern. To define the folds use the ruler as a guide and run the backside of the butter knife along the dashed line.

Step 3 Cut the leaf out and make the folds by hand. Close the leaf and glue the edges. Hold until the glue dries.

And voila! You have the perfect complement for your delicious French macarons!
